A stainless steel replacement for the Blaser R8's plastic safety slide, which functions as both the safety as well as the cocking switch. Blaser refers to this part as the tension slide or ''spannschieber" (Blaser SKU: C55161). This is one of the few exterior plastic components that come on these fine rifles, and it is easily replaced. We CNC machine 8 x 2mm ball nose cuts for a very tactile thumb grip onto the rear face of the slide. We also include a neodynium magnet of the same specification as the original to maximize the compatibility for those rifle scopes that have the on/off iC function for illuminated reticles. Available in several different finishes, this part will not dent or deform like the plastic original can do in the event of misadventure. This version has a durable TiN coating applied which produces a brilliant gold colored finish that will match inlays, motifs, trigger shoes, and TiN bolt heads of the same color commonly found on the higher-end Blaser R8 models.
