Firing pin kit

Designed to address light primer strikes by replacing all the components commonly involved with ignition issues. Our pins are turned from O1 tool steel, the tips are heat treated to approximately 55 HRC, then a durable titanium nitride PVD coating ('TiN') is applied. These steps maximize the wear and corrosion resistance of this excellent high carbon steel.

Note: Our firing pin retaining pin is splined on the bottom end - not tapered like the original. It is designed to be swaged into place for a very secure fit which requires hammering it into place so that the bottom is flush with the underside of the breech bolt. If you don't want to hammer the pin to fit then the original tapered Remington pin can be reused however we do not supply this.

Does Not Fit: early variation 20ga 870 (a 3.0625" length firing pin is required for this model)
