Safety slide, DLC coated stainless steel (black color)

A stainless steel replacement for the Blaser R8's plastic safety slide, which functions as both the safety as well as the cocking switch. Blaser refers to this part as the tension slide or ''spannschieber" (Blaser SKU: C55161). This is one of the few exterior plastic components that come on these fine rifles, and it is easily replaced. We CNC machine 8 x 2mm ball nose cuts for a very tactile thumb grip onto the rear face of the slide. We also include a neodynium magnet of the same specification as the original to maximize the compatibility for those rifle scopes that have the on/off iC function for illuminated reticles. Available in several different finishes, this part will not dent or deform like the plastic original can do in the event of misadventure. This version has a durable DLC coating applied which produces a satin black finish that matches the metal work on many of the blued Blaser R8 models.
